Nguni Cow Print 8cm

Nguni Cow Print. This is a limited-run print of an 8cm pencil drawing that was created in 2022 by Jane Pitchford. The cattle breed is indigenous to Southern Africa. Zulu, Xhosa and Swazi cattle owners describe up to 77 different colour patterns to identify their cattle – this cow pattern is known as Umhlangwe in Zulu. The original drawing and prints will be on display and for sale at Nguni Restaurant in Plettenberg Bay.

The print comes in a 230x310mm white mount with a 140x140mm window. Each one is printed on archival art paper, signed, numbered, and touched up with pencil.
